Debdas Sen

Debdas is the CEO of TCG Digital, the flagship, modern-age technology company of The Chatterjee Group. TCG Digital helps solve complex business problems; leveraging the power of state-of-the-art innovations in the areas of: AI, analytics, mobility, cybersecurity, Blockchain, IOT, RPA, and other cutting edge solutions.

Before joining the TCG Group, Debdas was an Executive Director and Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers India (PwC). Debdas’s last roles include being the Technology Consulting Leader of PwC India; being part of the Technology Leadership team for the PwC Network; and Managing Partner in Eastern India. He was also the Analytics Competency Lead for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India.

Debdas has a B.Tech (Hons.) from IIT Kharagpur in Electronics and Communication Engineering (1997). Debdas has also been an active contributor in leading journals, and he has been a speaker in many seminars in the U.S. and India.

Debdas has held various positions of importance in a number of Chambers of Commerce. His special interest is in social service. Debdas is involved in many activities which make a difference to society; including being a board member of several NGOs. Presently, Debdas is Chairman of the Eastern Region of American Chamber of Commerce.

Ujjal Mukherjee

Ujjal Mukherjee is the Executive Director of Lummus Digital. He also serves as Chief Technology Officer of Lummus Technology. He leads Lummus’ energy transition and digitalization initiatives while continuing his leadership role in oil to chemicals projects.

Prior to these roles, Ujjal served as Vice President Technology for CLG and under his direction, CLG became a world leader in distillates and residue hydrocracking, delayed coking and the production of lube oil base stocks. In a career spanning nearly forty years in the refining and petrochemicals industry Ujjal has conceived of and commercialized many processes that have transformed the conversion of heavy oils including most of the world’s largest operating hydrocrackers, integrated residue and distillate hydrocracking, the LC-MAX process, and multiple processes in biofuels and shale oil upgrading. He is currently leading the crude the chemicals effort including the cutting edge TC2C process. He has 45 issued US patents in refining, petrochemicals biofuels and shale oil upgrading. Ujjal has been with Lummus since 1990 first working in petrochemicals and then as one of the founding members of CLG. Ujjal has worked on projects in over 50 countries and mentored many engineers who have gone on to senior leadership positions themselves. Ujjal’s contributions were recognized and he was named a Fellow of Lummus Technology in 2020.

Ujjal has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, India, a Master of Science in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from ENSPM, France and an MBA from Rutgers University.

Mikael Hagstroem

Mikael is one of the key board members of Lummus Digital and is also the CEO of LabVantage Solutions Inc. He has over 30 years of experience in digital transformation and has held several critical leadership roles while helping organizations solve business problems and harness sustainable growth.

Prior to this,Mikael was the CEO and President at MetricStream. He also held the positions of EVP at SAS and that of the President at SAS International where he was responsible for successful development of global sales strategy along with business development. He undertook full operational and P&L responsibility for a majority of countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He also played a crucial role at McKinsey & Company as the Partner and as COO at McKinsey Analytics during which he helped in harnessing high-performance analytics across industries; thus, enabling companies to reshape their business models, modernize their organizations, and unlock sustainable value from big data and advanced analytics.

Besides, Mikael is currently on the Board of Advisors of the AI Forum and has served as Chairman of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Data-Driven Development and on the Global Future Council. He has also been the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU, Executive Committee member of the U.S. Council for International Business, and has served as an Executive Board member of the Atlantic Council. He is also an Independent Director of Planet Smart City.

Ron Venner

Ron has 45 years of experience in process engineering, technology licensing, sales and marketing. Venner has also led Lummus’ Clean Fuels operations segment and Lummus’ petrochemicals business, which included CATOFIN, ethylbenzene, styrene, butadiene extraction, cumene, phenol, paraxylene and carbonates technologies.

At Lummus Technology, he has also played a key role in advancing and bringing to market technologies such as CO2 capture, plastics recycling, biopolymers, blue and green hydrogen, and PFAS destruction.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Manhattan College

Snehal Patel

Snehal Patel serves as the Board Member of Lummus Digital, adeptly integrating visionary leadership with extensive global experience within the Oil & Gas Industry in both the Downstream Business as well as in Information Technology. As a Board Member and Strategic Advisor for Digitalization in the Oil & Gas sector, he assumes a pivotal role in guiding the industry towards innovative and transformative solutions.

Possessing a robust business background, Snehal is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of delivering impactful results across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. His expertise lies in Petroleum and Chemicals business processes, demonstrating a remarkable ability to navigate the intricate intersection between business strategy and IT Transformation & Delivery.

Snehal’s professional journey includes a noteworthy tenure at Shell which has solidified his standing as a key player in the industry’s digital evolution. His commitment to excellence is underscored by his role as a strategic advisor, shaping the landscape of Digitalization in the Oil & Gas sector.

A Chemical Engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur and doctorate from Kansas State University, Snehal combines a robust academic background with extensive industry experience, positioning him as a leader, driving technological innovation and strategic growth in the Oil & Gas sector.

Amitabha Sinha

Amitabha currently is the Joint Managing Director at Lummus Digital.

Amitabha has over 25 years of experience in technology and strategic consulting. Both on the technology as well as the digital strategy side, he has run transformation projects with Fortune 100 companies in geographies like US, Canada, UK, and Singapore. Amitabha started his career with IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center and has 11 International Patents, 5 of them with IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center. Thereafter, he worked for consulting majors like PwC (UK) and EY (US) and has run large BFSI ODCs based out of Singapore and Hong Kong.

Amitabha is a First Class First President’s Gold Medal Winner from IIT Delhi, has a MS from Carnegie Mellon and a PGP from IIM Bangalore.

Prakash Ramdoss

Prakash Ramdoss is the Joint Managing Director of Lummus Digital. With over 28 years of experience in the design and operation of plants using advanced simulation and digital tools, Prakash leads Lummus Digital’s initiatives to develop digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency across the energy and petrochemical sectors.

He has developed and implemented several innovative digital solutions to help clients optimize their plant operations and achieve operational excellence.

Prakash holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. He has presented at numerous international conferences and has authored articles in various industrial journals. He is also a member of Technical Advisory Boards in the field of Process Simulation.

Neha Agarwal

Neha is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Lummus Digital.

A Chartered Accountant and ISB alumni, Neha brings forward 15+ years of experience in areas of business finance, operations, client & partner relationship management. Driven towards steering operations with focus on both top-line and bottom-line, she has a firm grip over financial planning and analyses to drive performance aligned with organizational goals and strategies. She has been with TCG Digital for 8+ years in multiple roles, contributing towards financial risk management, operational efficiencies, driving profitability – all while managing stakeholders through strong communication skills. Before TCG Digital, Neha spent a notable term with PwC, Kolkata in Tech Consulting.

Ossama Tawfick

Ossama Tawfick serves as President – Commercial at Lummus Digital and is responsible for the Global Sales and Marketing functions. Based out of Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, he consolidates Lummus Digital’s presence in this critical region.

Previously, Osamsa has served Cognite as Senior Director of Business Development, MENA. His prior experience includes roles in Aveva, Microsoft, ASPEN, and Bentley Systems where he has demonstrated sales leadership, marketing digital solutions, and network systems, benefiting many enterprises, particularly in the oil & gas industry.

Ossama has a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering from Cairo University and an Executive MBA from ESCP Business School in Paris.

Chancelor Williams

Chancelor Williams serves as Chief Operating Officer for Lummus Digital, responsible for managing operations for the organization and joint venture between Lummus Technology and TCG-Digital.

He previously served as Director of Technology for Lummus’ E-Gas process technology from 2008 to 2020. With more than 25 years of experience, Chancelor has served roles with increasing responsibility in operations and production, capital projects, process engineering, R&D and provided business development technical support within the refining and petrochemical industry. He has led design, commissioning and startup activities for multi-billion dollar projects in South Korea, India, China and the US.

Chancelor received a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and completed an MBA at the Mays Business School, Texas A&M University.

Amrita Roychoudhury

Amrita is the Director of Operations at Lummus Digital, bringing over 18 years of experience in business strategy formulation, business process re-engineering, and change management across industries such as petrochemicals, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and higher education.

Amrita has previously worked with Deloitte & Touche Consulting, PwC, and Tata Cummins in India, leading multi-disciplinary teams to successfully deliver complex projects.
